Aliah McCord works in the firm's employment services practice group. Before joining DWT, she externed for King County Superior Court Judge Sandra Widlan, where she assisted on issues related to class certification and other court matters, and was the personal assistant to Ninth Circuit Judge Ronald Gould. Her legal experience includes trial, mediation, settlement, and drafting work for the Civil Rights and Justice Clinic at the University of Washington and advocacy roles at organizations including the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project in Tacoma, where she met with detained immigrants seeking legal assistance, drafted motions, compiled evidence, and translated court documents, as well as the QLaw Foundation in Seattle, where she assisted in providing legal aid to community members.
